Last month, we reported that Dumb and Dumber 2 suffered a setback when Jim Carrey left the project, due to lack of enthusiasm showed by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Today, Jeff Daniels revealed that they are just trying to get the script ready to start shooting next summer.
Jeff Daniels stated:
”[Jim Carrey] wants to do it. I want to do it. The Farrellys want to do it. They want to rewrite the script a little bit and they aren’t trying to jam it in before I have to go back and do The Newsroom in November. So they’re going, ‘Why don’t we just do it right?
