‘THE WOLVERINE’ IS NOT A SEQUEL
According to a resent statement from Hugh Jackman, the lastest installment to the Wolverine brand, The Wolverine, is not a sequel to 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Jackman stated:
“We’ve deliberately not called it Wolverine 2 because we want it to be placed and feel like a standalone picture. With an all-new cast and setting it in Japan, it’s going to give us a whole new visual aesthetic. The approach to character means we won’t be overloaded with mutants and teams and the like, so it’ll be more character-based. I think in many ways it will feel like a completely different X-Men film.”

THE WOLVERINE POSTER HAS BEEN LEAKED!
The Wolverine’s movie poster starring the ever-so-sexy Hugh Jackman has been released allegedly from the office of the film’s director, James Mangold. Although, 20th Century Fox has yet to confirm or deny an official release date, the word on the street is June 26, 2013. The overall permise of the film is following Wolverine as he continues to search for answers from his past that leads him to Japan. Hence, the Japanese vibe of the poster. Filming will begin when Jackman wraps up on Les Miserables.

Despite the set’s effort to keep this star-studded cast film under wraps, a photo has surfaced of Hugh Jackman has leaked form the Les Miserables set in London. Jackman is playing Jean Valjean and Russell Crowe is playing Inspector Javert. The film is directed by Tom Hooper, who recently directed the multi-award winning film, The King’s Speech.
